I understand it is important for us both to feel the therapy I provide will be a good fit for you. To ensure this, I offer a free scheduled consultation by phone, text or email, prior to scheduling your first visit. We will briefly discuss your goals for therapy and determine whether I am the best fit for your needs.

If I am not in-network with your insurance, I am able to bill insurance using your out-of-network (OON) benefits and would be happy to provide more information about how that process works.
My current fee for counseling is $150 per 45 minute session and $175 per 60 minute session. I do offer a sliding scale ($50-$150), so don't hesitate to chat with me about payment options. Late arrivals will still need to end on time.
Prior to attending your first scheduled session, it is required for legal purposes that you have completed all online documents, via the Client Portal of my scheduling website. This includes a credit/debit card form. That is required regardless of whether you plan to pay by check or cash. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions about this process.
24-hour notice is required for all cancellations. I charge a $50 fee for all late-cancels and no-shows. Waivers of this fee are exceedingly rare and at full discretion of the therapist. I do provide one “freebie.” Your first event of a late-cancel or no-show will not incur the fee.
If account is overdue more than one session, further sessions will be postponed until bill is caught up. Outstanding balance will be charged to required on-file credit/debit card. Advance payment is accepte
I strictly adhere to all legal, ethical, and HIPAA requirements; details provided in Intake Paperwork Packet. I am not a medical doctor, psychiatrist, or psychologist. I cannot prescribe medication or give medical/medication advice.
While our session content remains confidential, I am a mandated reporter required by law to report to appropriate authorities any present, past, or suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of any child aged 17 or under; any disabled person; any person aged 71 or older. I am also required to report threat of imminent danger related to active suicidal or homicidal threat. In any and all of the above situations, I will do my professional best to inform you when these requirements have been triggered in session, so that you are fully aware and participatory in seeking help and safety for all involved.
I cannot provide after-hours crisis support, or any form of counseling or advice outside of scheduled sessions (phone, text, email, etc) except where pre-arranged as primary mode of treatment with clients not receiving services through their health insurance. I will be able to provide applicable phone numbers for nearby county 24/7 mental health crisis lines.
